What is beef bacon?

Beef bacon is bacon made using beef instead of pork. This particular brand uses the beef naval or belly meat of the cow so it’s quite fatty, unlike turkey bacon which can be very lean.

This brand beef bacon is a close substitute for pork bacon both in flavor and texture.

Why you’ll love this oven-baked beef bacon recipe

  • It’s super easy without a greasy mess! No standing over a hot skillet while grease it popping on you, let the oven do all the work. And it comes out perfectly with minimal effort. For easy clean up, line your sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Oven-baked bacon tastes better than stovetop bacon. Beef bacon can be a little tough and chewy when cooked over the stove. Oven-baked bacon is perfectly crisp and literally melts in your mouth!
