Description

Cold and refreshing Iced Matcha Lemonade. It is the perfect summer drink. It is a refreshing lemonade made with fresh lemon juice, pure cane sugar, and energy-boosting matcha powder.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Matcha green tea powder
  • 4 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice, juice from 2 large lemons
  • 1/4 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl add matcha powder and warm water. Use a bamboo whisk or electric milk frother to mix the matcha until it’s smooth without any lumps. Set aside.

  2. In a quart mason jar or measuring cup combine lemon juice, cane sugar, water, and matcha. Mix until combined and the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Fill two pint-size jars with ice then pour matcha lemonade into glasses. Serve with extra lemonade slices and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead: You can make matcha lemonade up to 24 hours ahead of time. Make the recipe like usual but save the ice for just before you are ready to serve your lemonade, so it doesn’t get watered down!
