Blueberry Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze

Step 1. Gather all the ingredients. 

Step 2. In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients. In another add softened butter, cane sugar, and lemon zest.

Step 3. Cream the butter and sugar together until light in color with a fluffy texture. Then mix eggs and vanilla extract until combined. 

Step 4. Add the flour mixture into the wet and a little at a time, alternating with buttermilk. Next, gently fold in blueberries. 

Step 5. Now pour batter into a prepared loaf pan, making sure to spread it out evenly.

Step 6. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. 

Drizzle with lemon glaze and enjoy!
