Strawberry Ice Cream

The Perfect Summer Treat!

Recipe Ingredients -Fresh strawberries -Heavy cream -Milk -Egg yolks - Vanilla extract -Lemon juice - Cane sugar - a pinch of salt

Step 1. In a large bowl add cane sugar and egg yolks.

Step 2. Whisk eggs and sugar together until light and creamy.

Step 3. Slowly add hot milk/cream to eggs a little at a time, whisking until combined.

Cook mixture until thickened.

Step 4. Make a smooth and chunky strawberry sauce. 

Step 5. Pour smooth strawberry sauce into the cooked ice cream mixture.

Chill completely

Step 6. Churn ice cream until smooth and creamy.

Step 7. Then add in the chunky strawberry sauce.

Step 8. Freeze ice cream for at least 4 hours.
