Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread

This old fashioned skillet cornbread is moist and buttery with crispy edges!

Recipe Ingredients  -Cornmeal - Milk or buttermilk - Butter - Flour -Baking powder - Salt - Eggs

Step 1. Preheat cast iron skillet in the oven with butter.

Step 2. Mix the dry ingredients together. 

Step 3. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until everything is well combined.

Step 3. Pour cornbread batter into the hot greased skillet. 

Step 4. Bake until golden brown along the edges and toothpick comes out clean.

Step 4. Serve warm with butter!
