Lamb Burgers

With Creamy Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

Recipe Ingredients - Hamburger Buns - Ground Lamb - Cucumber - Yogurt - Lemon Juice - Dried herbs - Red Onion - Garlic - Vegetable oil - Salt

Step 1. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground lamb, dried rosemary, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2. Mix the meat very well until everything is combined.

Step 3. Now shape your patties a little larger than your hamburger buns.

Step 4. Next, heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat with vegetable oil, and fry your patties for 3-5 minutes on each side.

Step 5. In a small bowl, combine your shredded cucumbers and salt, then strain to remove any excess juice.

Making the Tzatziki Sauce

Step 6. Then combine the strained cucumber with your yogurt, garlic, dill, and lemon juice, and mix well.

Step 7. Finally, assemble your burgers with toasted buns, sliced red onions, and fresh tzatziki sauce.
