West African Fried Plantains

Soft & Sweet!

Step 1.Choose very ripe plantains with plenty of black spots. 

Step 2. Cut the ends off. Make a slit in the skin then peel off. 

Step 3. Slice plantains diagonally. 

Step 4. Fry in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil. 

Step 5. Fry until golden brown on both sides. 

Step 6. Serve by themselves as a quick snack.  

Or with Jollof Rice for lunch or dinner.  Enjoy!
