Step 1. Gather the ingredients: chickpeas, red bell peppers, lemon, garlic, cilantro and tahini. 

Step 2. Wash, cut, and deseed peppers. 

Step 3. Roast in the oven until the skin of the peppers turns black.

Step 4. Once cooled, carefully remove the blacken skin.

Step 5. Now add the peeled peppers into a blender with the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Cook mixture until thickened.
