Peach Cobbler

Recipe Ingredients - Fresh or frozen peaches - Cane sugar - Vanilla extract - Butter - Milk - Flour - Baking powder - Salt - Ground cinnamon

If you are using fresh peaches choose ones that are ripe but still pretty firm.

Step 1. Peel peaches using a vegetable peeler then slice into 1/4-inch slices.

Step 2. In a large skillet, cook the peaches with sugar and spices until most of their juices have released.

Step 3. Combine the dry ingredients, then whisk in the milk to make the cobbler topping.

Step 4. Heat pie pan with butter until melted, then evenly spread out the cobbler topping.

Step 5. Now evenly spread out the peach filling on top.

Step 6. Bake until the top is golden brown and the peaches are soft and tender.

Serve this old-fashioned peach cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
