Ninja Creami strawberry sorbet is the perfect summer treat! This sweet and creamy frozen dessert is a healthy treat made with 3 ingredients - strawberries, lemon juice, and cane sugar, inside your ninja creami ice cream machine.
Add the strawberries, cane sugar, and lemon juice to a blender and then puree until smooth. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container making sure it doesn’t go over the max fill line then cover with the lid.
Freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
Remove the lid then insert the pint container into the Ninja Creami outer bowl then sear with the lid then insert it into the machine. Press the SORBET button and let it run through the cycle, this usually takes 1 minute 39 seconds.
Remove the outer bowl from the machine and remove the lid.
Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Pro Tips
Mix in other fruit, like fresh or frozen mangos, peaches, pineapple or blueberries!
If the sorbet appears crumbly add a splash of juice then run it through the RE-SPIN cycle until it reaches your desired texture.
Make sure the strawberry puree doesn’t go over the max fill line.
Once frozen the mixture might sometimes have a dome top, especially if I filled it right to the max fill line. I like to scrap that off and make sure it leveled before blending inside the Ninja Creami machine.
How To Store/ Make Ahead
Storing. If you have any leftovers I like to transfer them to these ice cream storage containers so I use my Ninja Creami pint container to make another batch of sorbet! Freezer. Your sorbet can last for several weeks in the freezer if stored in an air-tight/freezer-safe container. When you are ready to enjoy your leftovers, allow them to sit on the counter for 5 - 10 minutes before eating, so it won't be as hard and have a creamy texture again. Make ahead. You can blend the ingredients together and then keep the sorbet base in the freezer until you are ready to blend it in your machine.
