Instructions
Start by heating a large cast iron skillet on medium-high heat with avocado oil.
Into a large mixing bowl, add ground lamb, breakfast sausage seasoning mix, and salt. Mix to combine with gloved hands or a spoon.
Next, divide the sausage mixture into 5 - 6 uniform balls, then press them out a little larger than you want because they will shrink as they cook. Transfer the patties to a plate or baking sheet.
Add the patties to the hot oil making sure to leave 2 inches of space all around so they get a nice sear. Fry for 3- 4 minutes per side, or until they are nicely seared and golden brown.
Transfer to a serving platter then serve hot with scrambled eggs, or homemade biscuits for breakfast. Enjoy!
Notes
Storing. Wrap any leftover patties with plastic wrap or in plastic baggies. Store in the refrigerator for 3 - 4 days or in the freezer for several weeks. Reheating. Reheat the lamb sausage patties in the oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until they are warmed through. You can also use 1 ½ - 2 Tablespoon Homemade Breakfast Sausage Seasoning Mix
