Lamb has a nice earthy and slightly gamey flavor that just works so well with the flavors of my favorite homemade mix spice. This blend is one of our family’s favorite seasonings to make and use. You can use it to flavor ground turkey, chicken, beef, or anything you want to taste like sausage! Check out my other sausage recipes for more inspo!

What to serve with lamb breakfast sausage
- Served as part of a breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, oven-baked beef bacon, homemade biscuits, and fresh fruit.
- Make breakfast sandwiches with buttermilk biscuits, eggs, and cheese.
- Added to salads or grain bowls.
- Instead of making patties brown the meat to make sausage gravy like in my chicken sausage gravy recipe
Pro Tips
- Divide the sausage mixture into evenly sized balls then press them out to make uniform patties.
- Flatten the patties out a little bit more than want, because the meat will shrink up a bit while cooking.
- Rub your hands with a little bit of oil before rolling and shaping the patties so the meat mixture doesn’t stick to your hands as much.
- Use plastic gloves so you don’t have to touch raw meat.
