Notes
All nutrition information is a rough estimate and this recipe card may contain affiliate links. Toast the bread first otherwise the bread will soak up too much of the sauce and become soggy.Try not to overly toast the bread otherwise, it will be too crunchy after the cheese has melted. After you add the ingredients your bread will continue to toast and cook in the oven.If you are adding veggies to your pizza toasts, make sure to thinly slice them or lightly saute them so they won’t be crunchy or raw-tasting. Try not to use too much sauce or it will make your bread soggy. Add more cheese and/or sauce depending on your liking.Leave the toppings off to make plain cheese toast or add fresh or dried herbs for a different flavor. If using fresh herbs make sure to add them under the cheese so they don’t dry out and burn in the oven.
