Beef and Broccoli stir fry is a family favorite dinner. The tender beef paired with the sweet stir fry sauce served alongside rice is a comforting dinner and there are rarely leftovers.
Start by making the stir fry sauce. In a large mixing bowl add all the stir fry sauce ingredients together and whisk until combine. Set aside.
Thinly slice the beef round top or flank steak against the grain - natural direction of the meat.
In a large cast-iron skillet, fry the beef until brown on both sides in a tablespoon of ghee. Then remove from the skillet. Repeat until all the meat is cooked. Don't crowd the pan.
Once all the meat is cooked, return the meat back to the skillet, and add the stir fry sauce to the meat. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the broccoli and cook until tender. Serve over rice. Enjoy!
Notes
*If you want to use soy sauce instead of coconut aminos: replace the coconut aminos with 6 tablespoon of soy sauce, salt to taste, and add 2 tablespoon of brown sugar.
