Buttermilk Biscuits

Buttery, Flaky, and Perfect

Recipe Ingredients - All-Purpose Flour - Unsalted Butter - Buttermilk - Baking Powder - Baking Soda - Cane Sugar - Salt

Step 1. In a large bowl, combine your dry ingredients together. Then work the butter into the flour.

Step 2. Then mix in the buttermilk with a fork to form the dough.

Step 3. Then on a lightly floured surface, fold the dough a couple of times to form the flaky layers.

Step 4. Now roll out your dough into a ½-inch thick rectangle.

Step 5. Next, cut your biscuit with a 3-inch biscuit cutter.

Step 6. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet, spacing each 1-2 inches apart.

Step 7. Finally, brush the tops of the biscuits with buttermilk and bake until golden brown.

Step 8. When they are done, brush them with melted butter.
