This is the machine we have and I HIGHLY suggest grabbing a few extra Ninja Creami pint containers. Since you have to wait 24 hours before you can blend your ice cream, it’s a good idea to have a couple extra containers on hand so you make more than one or two batches of ice cream at a time.
Frequently asked questions
It’s recommended to wait at least 24 hours before processing just to ensure the whole pint is completely frozen from top to bottom. You might get away with 20 - 22 hours but it’s best to wait the full 24 hours so you don’t accidentally damage your machine and void any outstanding warranties.
This can happen if there's too much milk or too little sugar in your ice cream recipe. Using a mix of heavy cream and milk and plenty of sugar contributes to giving a smooth and creamy texture to your ice cream.
Also, check to see if your freezer is set to an extremely cold temperature. If this is the case allow your ice cream to sit on the counter for 5 - 10 minutes before enjoying.
If your ninja creami ice cream is crumbly right after mixing, there might have been too much fat in your recipe. Using too much heavy cream or nut butters can cause this to happen. Try respinning it with 1 - 2 tablespoons of milk using the RESPIN function.
Another reason is that your freezer was too cold. Try leaving it out for 5 - 10 minutes before enjoying it.
